Diana Brown

In her role as Financial Systems Manager, Diana leads the development, implementation, and administration of the organization’s financial systems. Before joining IMC, Diana served as CFO of Camp Corral, an organization that serves military-connected children and was established through funding from ChildTrust Foundation, Golden Corral, and IMC.

Diana earned her undergraduate degree in commerce from University of Western Australia in Perth. She is a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants from Australia and New Zealand (ICAA) and Chartered Management of Accountants from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). She lives in Raleigh with her husband and two kids. In her rare free time, Diana enjoys reading books and traveling.

Kimberly Dasher

As a member of the finance team, Kimberly plays a vital role by performing a range of accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with audits. She brings years of experience in accounting within the healthcare and farmers insurance industries. A native of Raleigh, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her son, traveling and getting stronger every week in CrossFit.

Nick Despotes

Nick Despotes is on the strategic development team at IMC, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities within the active outdoor lifestyle space while also serving current partner companies with analysis and research. He joined the IMC team in 2017 after graduating from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

Outside of the office, Nick loves to be active, try new hobbies and explore North Carolina’s beaches and mountains with his wife, Madison, and energetic Sheepadoodle, Odie. He makes a mean rack of ribs on his Big Green Egg, and he can (and will) spend an entire day cooking for family and friends if given the chance. Go Pack!

Katherine Dorsey

Focused on building an internal learning culture, Katherine is responsible for helping the IMC team put our values into action while also keeping us organized and connected. On any given day, you may find her planning employee volunteer or engagement events, developing roundtable series for our Operating Companies, chairing the IMC Gives Fund, managing our communications strategy or securing speakers for companywide professional development opportunities.

Katherine holds a B.A. in communications with a concentration in public and interpersonal communications from North Carolina State University. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Hayes, and Basset Hound, Chip, who is absurdly cute and bigger than expected.

Linda Field

As Manager of Financial Reporting, Linda’s laughter in the office belies the seriousness of her work. She brings a sly humor along with expertise in preparing consolidated financial reports concerning IMC and its partner companies and preparing the annual audited consolidated financial statements. Linda brings expertise from previous roles in both large and small public accounting firms and in public and private industry.

Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a licensed CPA. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Stuart Frantz

Stuart became President and Chief Executive Officer at IMC in 2017, but he’s been part of the IMC family for decades. When Stuart founded Carolinas Golf Group more than 30 years ago, IMC founder and Chairman James Maynard was one of CGG’s original investors, becoming a trusted advisor, friend and mentor over the years. Most recently, Stuart served as President and Chief Executive Officer of IMC partner company Biologics, Inc. until the company was sold to McKesson, Inc. in 2016. With his passion for people-centered leadership, Stuart believes strongly in IMC’s 100-year plan and in the committed team it takes to put the plan into action.

Stuart serves on the Board of Directors of IMC and four of its partner companies, as well as the Board of Directors of Watson Electrical Construction Company, Inc. His commitment to community service has included terms on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County and as a deacon and elder in his church. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he earned an MBA, Stuart lives in Raleigh with his wife, Ella.

David Golder

David serves on IMC’s strategic development team, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities and analyzing current partner companies within the healthcare services industry. Prior to joining IMC, David was an investment banking analyst for Fidus Partners, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory for middle-market companies. Previously, David was an analyst at Morehead Capital, where he assisted in the analysis of investment opportunities.

David graduated from North Carolina State University, where he was an Alexander Hamilton Scholar, earning a B.S. in business and a B.A. in international economics. His musical tastes suggest that he is less stuffy than his college degree titles sound.

Holly Griffin

As the go-to for all things related to the facility, Holly oversees the scheduling of events in the facility, supplies, and maintenance. She is responsible for vendor relationships related to the facility and making IMC a welcoming place for all. In addition, she works behind the scenes with the IT, HR, finance, and tax teams. Holly co-chairs the company’s wellness committee which is dedicated to creating a healthy environment for employees through wellness training programs and fitness challenges. She is also an active member of IMC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and People Development committees.

Prior to joining IMC, Holly worked in event planning and in various roles with the YMCA, including teaching fitness for eight years. She earned a degree in recreation, parks and tourism from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. When she’s not spending her free time with her two children, Holly loves running the streets of Raleigh in daily preparation for her next race.

Kristen Jacot

Kristen manages administration for the IMC executive team’s daily operations as well as companywide special events involving the IMC team and its partner companies. In practice, that means she brings a sense of calm, unruffled structure to the team as she smoothly handles something different nearly every day in both individual and large group endeavors.

Prior to joining IMC in December 2015, Kristen spent five years as the executive assistant to the CEO at Morehead Capital Management and five years as an executive assistant and office manager at Cherokee Investment Partners. Kristen is a New York native who has called North Carolina home since 2000.

Jonathan Leonard

Jonathan keeps IMC’s team on time and safe in the air. He attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated with a B.S. in aeronautics. Jonathan has an Airline Transport Pilot license and is certified to fly Learjets, Citations and King Airs. Most of his previous career involved flying air medical flights, including patient transports and hundreds of organ transplant flights for local hospitals. He and his wife, Amy, have three children – Ethan, Jackson and Taylor – and enjoy spending their free time at Badin Lake.

Mike Marron

Mike joined IMC in 2023 as Vice President of Finance and Accounting. His prior experiences spanned several industries, including health care, professional services and natural resources. Most recently, Mike was the head of finance for a seniors housing developer headquartered in Raleigh. Previously, he worked for a philanthropic consulting firm based in Washington, D.C.

As a relative newcomer to North Carolina, Mike enjoys exploring all the natural wonders the state has to offer with his wife, Lina, and son, Lucas. He received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he double majored in Spanish and Accounting. Mike is a licensed CPA in his home state of Nebraska.

Easter Maynard

With more than 20 years at IMC, Easter Maynard has served on the IMC Board of Directors since 2017, becoming Board Chair in 2023. She has also served on the board of directors of IMC partner company Golden Corral Corp. for over 20 years and is the current Board Chair. Easter has been deeply involved in IMC’s philanthropic work as Director of Community Investment, leading ChildTrust Foundation and helping to found Camp Corral. The foundation primarily invests in early childhood education programs and policy in North Carolina. Camp Corral, launched in 2011 through a unique partnership with Golden Corral and IMC, provides summer camp experiences across the U.S. for children of wounded, ill and fallen military heroes.

In addition to her work at IMC, Easter serves on the NC Banking Commission and previously served on the Truist Financial Corporation Board of Directors. She also serves on the boards of the Methodist Home for Children, Foundation of Hope, and the NC Early Childhood Foundation. Easter previously served on the boards of the NC Network of Grantmakers, Triangle Community Foundation, NC Center for Women in Public Service, the NC Conservation Network, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County.

Easter has received numerous awards for her efforts, most recently the 2018 Vernon Malone Friend of Education Award from WakeEd Partnership, the Distinguished Alumni Award from UNC School of Social Work, the 2017 Triangle Community Foundation Catalyst Award for visionary philanthropy, and the 2017 Corporate Philanthropy Award from the Triangle Business Journal. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and communications from Wake Forest University and a master’s in social work and community practice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

James Maynard

James founded IMC in 1971 with a vision of creating meaningful employment for others. He was the company’s Chief Executive Officer through 2015 and served as its Chairman until 2023. He co-founded Golden Corral Corp. at age 33 with the opening of the first Golden Corral restaurant in Fayetteville, NC, in 1973, and served as President and CEO until 1989. Golden Corral Corporation is now the owner or franchisor of hundreds of restaurants nationwide as America’s #1 buffet restaurant.

James served as a Director of BB&T Corporation from 1984 to 2010. In 2003, the governor of North Carolina awarded Mr. Maynard the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian service honor that can be granted to a citizen of North Carolina. He was inducted into the NC Business Hall of Fame in 2009 and has been awarded the highest levels of state and national recognition by the hospitality industry. James earned his bachelor's degree from East Carolina University. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and fishing.

Christina Moore

As IMC’s Director of HR and Operations, Christina makes the behind-the-scenes magic happen for our entire team. She handles everything related to human resources, risk management, IT administration and benefits, and somehow does it all with grace and a smile. Before joining IMC in 2015, Christina served as office manager for Morehead Capital Management for six years. She previously worked in logistics for 11 years after earning a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from North Carolina State University. Christina lives in Raleigh with her two children and their puppy, Cooper.

Destiny Moreland

Destiny serves as the HR Coordinator for IMC, where she helps ensure that our team members have the resources and support to accomplish their goals and the space to openly communicate their ideas and needs. She has a B.S. in Behavioral Science and an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification. Passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) efforts, she advocates for representation and unification in her personal and professional life. She also finds fulfillment in people development and employee engagement.

Originally from Fort Myers Beach, FL, she relocated to NC in 2019 to be closer to the mountains without straying too far from the beach. In her free time, she loves movie nights and cooking with her daughter, seeing live music of all genres, and reading on her back porch.

Allison Morris

Allison Morris brings broad expertise to providing administrative support to IMC’s founder and Executive Chairman. She also ensures that ChildTrust Foundation’s grantmaking process runs smoothly and treasures the experience of having served on the start-up and development team of Camp Corral.

Allison has worked for more than 35 years in the IMC family of companies. Prior to supporting IMC’s founder, she spent 15 years as Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Finance at Golden Corral. A lifelong resident of the Raleigh area, Allison enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach.

Jennifer Moses

In her role as CFO, Jen focuses on various aspects of the company’s finance and operations. Prior to joining IMC in 2023, she was CFO at G1 Therapeutics, where her responsibilities included SEC reporting, financing planning and analysis, and treasury. Previously, Jen was a partner at Rankin McKenzie, LLC, where she served as acting chief financial officer and controller for venture-backed companies. Before joining Rankin McKenzie, Jen held roles of increasing responsibility at Deloitte, including providing tax services to clients and later focusing on strategic planning and internal communications in the Office of the CEO of Deloitte Tax.

Jen serves on the Board of Directors of Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. She received her B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and lives in Cary, NC, with her husband, Tommy.

Alison Newsome

Alison is the tax manager at IMC, supporting the tax department in all aspects of compliance and strategy implementation. Prior to joining IMC, she spent over a decade in the global tax department at IBM and three years in the tax practice at KPMG. Alison earned a bachelor's in business administration and a master's in accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a licensed certified public accountant in North Carolina.

A native of Brockton, Massachusetts, Alison lives in Durham, North Carolina, with her husband and son. She loves cheering on the Tar Heels, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

William Nicholson

William is a Principal on the strategic development team at IMC, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities within the food service and hospitality sectors. He works closely with IMC’s partner companies supporting growth strategy, financial analysis and project management. Prior to joining IMC in 2018, William worked for five years in operational, strategy and business development roles at Biologics, Inc. and McKesson Specialty Health, where he developed a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and health care industries. During his tenure, he supported strategic planning while also facilitating mergers and acquisitions and leading the subsequent integrations.

William earned a master’s degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. William grew up in Raleigh, where he now lives with his wife Lauren, daughter Reese, son Bates, and their golden retriever, Duck.

Dan Nifong

Dan is on the strategic development team at IMC, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities within the engineering and environmental services industry. Dan has been a part of the IMC family for his entire career, previously leading operations and human resource efforts at Arcadia Beverage, an IMC company. Prior to that, Dan was an associate with IMC, supporting operating businesses and assisting with the sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities.

Dan believes strongly in the power of business to create positive impacts in the world by supporting people and enabling great teams to achieve meaningful missions. In addition, Dan is excited about the future of engineering and environmental services and it’s potential to create generational impacts through environmental stewardship.

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Carolina State University and now lives in Raleigh with his wife Casey, daughter Sadie and son Christian.

Austin O'Neal

Austin brings a wealth of experience in aviation to his role at IMC, with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism throughout his career. He gained experience as a regional airline and charter pilot prior to finding to his true passion in corporate aviation. Austin holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and earned his B.S. in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Originally from eastern North Carolina, Austin now resides in Raleigh with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children, Madeline and Ballard.

Cyndi Soter O’Neil

Cyndi discovered her dream job at IMC, where she helps lead ChildTrust Foundation and provides guidance for IMC’s communications and community investment strategy. She brings experience from nearly three decades of work in public education in North Carolina, starting as a high school teacher and later in a range of communications, research and community engagement roles at local and statewide education organizations.

Cyndi earned degrees in education (B.A., NC Teaching Fellow) and journalism (M.A., Park Scholar) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a postgraduate diploma from Cardiff University in Wales, where she studied as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. She’s also learning a lot from parenting two teenagers with much help from her husband, Patrick. She currently serves as co-chair of Invest Early NC, on the boards of the Public School Forum and the Sanderson High School Foundation, and on the EdNC advisory council.

Greg Wintermeier

Greg works in IMC’s tax department, assisting with the compliance aspect of IMC’s operations, among many other things. Before joining the IMC team in 2019, he worked for a small accounting firm outside of Charlotte and for the tax department at DHG in Raleigh. Greg holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from North Carolina State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

A recently relocated Bostonian, Greg enjoys sampling the restaurants in his neighborhood then subsequently working off the additional calories. His highly anticipated and well-chosen closing quotations regularly result in contemplative colleagues at IMC’s weekly team meetings. Greg resides in Raleigh with his wife, Bekah, and his energetic pup, Dublin.

Anita Brown-Graham

Anita is the founder and director of the ncIMPACT Initiative at the UNC School of Government, a special initiative that seeks to expand the School’s capacity to work with public officials on complex policy issues including economic mobility, the expansion of prekindergarten, and extending the labor pool. She previously taught at the School from 1994 to 2006, specializing in governmental liability and economic development aimed at revitalizing communities. In 2007, Anita served as director of the Institute for Emerging Issues (IEI) at NC State University, where she led efforts to build North Carolina’s capacity for economic development and prosperity, working with business, government and higher education leaders from across the state.

Anita began her career as a law clerk in the Eastern District of California. She is a William C. Friday Fellow, an American Marshall Fellow, and an Eisenhower Fellow. The White House named her a 2013 Champion of Change for her work at IEI, and the Triangle Business Journal named her both a 2014 Woman in Business for her policy leadership in the state and a 2017 CEO of the year. Anita serves on the boards of several organizations, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. She earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and a law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Tom Darden

Tom Darden is founder and CEO of Cherokee and its predecessors. Cherokee has raised over $2.2 billion in five institutional private equity funds and invested this capital in the acquisition, cleanup, development and sale of over 550 environmentally contaminated real estate assets in the U.S., Europe and Canada. In addition, Cherokee and its affiliates have invested in or founded over 160 corporate ventures, many focused in clean tech.

Tom earned a master’s in regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar. Before founding Cherokee, he was a consultant with Bain & Company in Boston and an environmental planner with the Korea Institute of Science & Technology in Seoul.

Carter Franke

Carter brings more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience focused on direct-to-consumer initiatives and corporate responsibility in the financial services sector. She served as Chief Marketing Officer of the Chase Card Services Division, where she was instrumental in the development of many key partnerships with leading brands such as Southwest Airlines, Yahoo and Starbucks. In her role as CMO, she represented the business in all legislative and public affairs activities. Later as Head of Corporate Marketing for JPMorgan Chase & Co, she created iconic marketing initiatives and a digital philanthropic program.

In 2020, Carter became the first woman to chair the Sallie Mae Bank Board of Directors after serving on the board since 2014. Previously, she served on the board’s Nominations, Governance and Audit committees. Carter is actively involved in her community serving as treasurer of the Hobe Sound Community Chest and on the Vestry of Christ Memorial Church in Hobe Sound, Florida. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Mary Baldwin College and previously served on the board of Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh.

Jim Hyler

Jim retired as Managing Director at IMC in 2016, having previously spent 28 years at First Citizens Bank — first as CFO and then President, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer. He also worked with Ernst & Young for ten years, specializing in bank auditing. Jim currently serves on the board of IMC and two of its partner companies, Fleet Feet and RiseMark, and one other privately held company. His past board service includes two public companies: First Citizens BancShares and Duke Energy. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in accounting.

Jim has been involved with numerous local, state and national non-profit service organizations, including serving as Chairman of the President’s Council for the 1999 and 2005 U.S. Opens, held in Pinehurst on course No. 2. He served on the USGA Executive Committee from 2004 to 2012 and was Chairman of the Championship Committee from 2006 to 2009 before serving as President from 2010 to 2012. Jim and his wife, Natalie, live in Asheville, NC.

Dale Jenkins

Dale is the former Chief Executive Officer of Curi Holdings, Inc. Founded in 1975, the group’s flagship company is Medical Mutual Insurance Company of North Carolina, a property/casualty insurance company that specializes in writing professional liability insurance for physicians and health care professionals. Additionally, the company owns MMIC Investment Holdings, which possesses various real estate properties and private equity investments.

Currently, Dale serves as board chair for myFutureNC. He is the past chair of the NC Chamber, UNC Health and Capital Associated Industries. Prior to joining Curi in April 1994, Dale spent 16 years with Ernst & Young, becoming a Partner in 1987. Dale graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned his Certified Public Accountant license.

Easter Maynard

With almost 20 years at IMC, Easter Maynard has served on the IMC Board of Directors since 2017, becoming Board Chair in 2023. Richard Urquhart

Richard retired as Chief Operating Officer of IMC in October 2016 after being actively involved in financial activities for IMC and its partner companies for 31 years. He is a former partner at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he worked for 18 years before joining IMC in 1985. Richard graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Richard serves on several local boards with particular focus on education and improving the lives of young people; these include the Public School Forum of North Carolina, WakeEd Partnership – which presented him with the Friend of Education Award in 2007 – and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County. Richard has also served as board chair of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Audit Committee chair for the Dogwood State Bank Board and on the Meredith College Board of Trustees. He and his wife, Cindy, have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Victor Albisu

Victor Albisu is the chef/founder of Taco Bamba. With more than two decades of experience in fine dining and upscale French, American, and Latin American restaurants, Albisu combines his culinary education with his Latin American heritage to bring a unique style of cuisine to his widely popular taqueria. In 2020 and 2016, Albisu was nominated as Best Chef Mid-Atlantic by the James Beard Foundation. In 2015, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington honored Albisu as Chef of the Year.

Outside the kitchen, Albisu is active in global culinary relief initiatives, including extensive work with CARE and World Central Kitchen, for whom he was a founding board member and has travelled to Cuba, Nicaragua, and Peru, among other destinations. In early 2020, Albisu co-led a relief trip to Peru with a group of chefs and dentists bringing aid and medical care to underserved communities with a newly formed non-profit, Smile on the World.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Albisu is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu School in Paris, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from George Mason University. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons.

Margaret Haynes

Margaret is the President & CEO of RiseMark and Right at Home. Previously, Margaret served as COO of the company and was responsible for driving growth, overseeing day-to-day company operations, and enhancing the internal infrastructure in support of RiseMark and Right at Home’s strategic vision and mission. Since joining the team in 2011, Margaret’s guiding focus is helping local Right at Home offices build sustainable, profitable businesses through effective coaching, and process improvement and execution. Margaret had previously served as Senior Vice President of Support at Right at Home and was responsible for developing and implementing the franchise support, compliance and quality strategies for the franchise system. Through her own experiences as a Right at Home consumer and a family caregiver, it is Margaret’s mission to deliver a dynamic business model that best serves the global need for home care.

Margaret is a well-rounded leader with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management and a master’s in personnel and human resource management. In her free time, Margaret enjoys volunteering for the local Meals on Wheels program and spending time with her husband, Matt, and two daughters. Connor Leonard

Connor leads Arbour National as President and is on the Board. Arbour National is an insurance holding company based in Raleigh, NC and dedicated to the long-term ownership of specialty Property & Casualty carriers. Connor has worked for IMC and related entities his entire career, focusing on private acquisitions, managing public market investments, and spending time in operational and board roles. Prior to forming Arbour National, he was a Development Lead and shareholder at IMC focusing on new acquisitions while also working closely with Golden Corral and Hart Lumber.

Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for UNC's Applied Investment Management program and on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County. Connor resides in Raleigh with his wife, Cameron, and three sons.

David Moller

David is a senior executive with 25+ years of experience in leading privately held and large beverage and consumer-packaging companies. During his career tenure, David has held CEO, COO and Managing Director positions, including his most recent role as Managing Director of Refresco US, part of the world’s largest independent bottler for retailers and A-brands.

As former CEO of Whitlock Packaging Corporation, David sourced Refresco as a potential buyer of Whitlock Packaging and subsequently ensured a smooth merger and post integration process. In previous COO and Executive Vice President of Business Development roles with Whitlock Packaging Corporation, David was instrumental in developing a purpose driven, value-based culture. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.

Joey Pointer

Joey joined Fleet Feet as a financial manager in 2004, before becoming Director of Operations in 2006, then CFO from 2012 until his 2017 promotion to CEO. Under his leadership, Fleet Feet has undergone significant changes rooted in people, culture, business development, the customer experience, national marketing and innovation.

A graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (and passionate fan of the men’s basketball team), Joey majored in business and earned his master’s in accounting. After college he started his career as an accountant at Ernst & Young. When Joey is not celebrating the accomplishments of staff members at the company’s monthly Core Value Awards, he’s on a walking meeting with a team member or vendor partner, out for a run in preparation for his next marathon, on the phone or in a store with a franchisee, supporting his children at Fleet Feet’s Mini Milers running program or mastering wakeboarding on Hyco Lake. A North Carolina native, Joey lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Ivy, and their three children.

Lance Trenary

Lance began his restaurant career at a young age in his father’s restaurant, where he learned the value of guests and the people who serve them. Lance joined Golden Corral in 1986 as Partner Manager in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2015, becoming only the third person to hold this position in the brand’s history.

Lance’s industry leadership includes his current role as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Restaurant Association and Trustee for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, as well as serving on the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association. He has chaired the Restaurant Industry Executive Council and has served as a member of the WFF CEO Advisory Council. In 2019, Lance was named the Restaurateur of the Year by NCRLA and is a past recipient of the Griff and June Glover Award for Distinguished Service. He received the 2019 Chairman’s Award for the National Restaurant Association Educational Fund and the National Restaurant Association’s 2020 Chairman’s Award for outstanding leadership and contributions to the industry.

Committed to giving back to the military community, Lance serves on the Board of Directors for Camp Corral and on the Founder’s Circle Advisory Board for Project Healing Waters. He and his wife, Paulette, have two adult daughters, Elizabeth and Ally-Catherine.
